I got a few things bugging me about Hero Moto Corp. I heard somewhere that Hero's Splendor still runs on a Honda engine.

Is that still the real deal? And if so, are they still shelling out royalty money to Honda for it?

Also, the gap in sales between these two is shrinking, what's the crystal ball say about Hero's future?

Does anyone heard any latest news or rumour about them

They've actually been phasing it out slowly since the split but some older splendor models might still carry the DNA, but newer ones are mostly hero developed.

Yeah, Splendor runs on a Honda engine, probabley with some royalty payments. Honda is starting to close the gap in sales, but Hero is really diving into electric vehicles and exploring new markets.It'll be interestin to see how it all plays out

Absolutelyyyy. The Splendor actually still rocks an engine originally licensed from Honda even though it's been tweaked over the years. So... chances are royalties are still there. Hero is investing in R&D and expanding its lineup, which is pretty good long-term. I heard a few rumors about new EV models in the works, so things might get even more interesting soon.
