Mechanic problems

Yesterday I took my Hero for a service, oil replacement and a quick check. Everything went fine and the guy told me it's all good. I ride home, go to bed and this morning I find oil beneath the bike, dripping from the drain bolt. Once I took the bike I haven't touched anything, so this is the fault of the mechanic. It's the first time happening so I'm not sure what to do. How can I check if theyre's enough oil? Also, I'm guessing the mechanic is at fault here, so how do I approach this problem?

@Warmshot85 I think you should call the mechanic immediately, explain calmly what happened (oil leaking from the drain bolt right after their service). then ask for a fix, mention your concern about riding it if the oil is low

This is some great advice, but there's a potential problem, the mechanic may not accept fault plus, @Warmshot85 can't just drive the bike there, he'll need to put it on a trailer, especially if it's leaking a lot of oil.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see you pull this oof and get the bike fixed. Maybe ask the mechanic if he'd come to you? Or if it's a very slow leak fill it up with oil and take it there? Still, talk to the mechanic and see how willing he is to solve this problem

I feel you should go back and let them know exactly what happened, be calm but firm, its on them, and they should fix it, clean it up, and make sure nothing is damaged, you have to make them own up to it except you want to bash it and just find a solution yourself
