I still haven't reached a point where I'll need to replace something, but I'm trying to have all the info before hand. Since hero isn't officially available in the states, I'd like to know how and where do you get parts from?

you mean the OEM parts or you don't mind the aftermarket ones? I personally get the parts straight from India, but you can also find some online international retailers/exporters that sells Hero parts, or you can check ebay, I've seen some Hero parts there

Most people get parts through online sellers and/or overseas suppliers.. Platforms like eBay, aliExpress, or specialty bike shops that deal with international brands..

Absolutely, I can relate! eBay and AliExpress have really come through for me more times than I can count. And don't forget, you can also get parts straight from India as QuirkyQuokka mentioned, which is a great option

Actually eBay has been a lifesaver for filters and cables for me. Amazon carries the basics too. For parts that are a little harder to find, I used sites like Partzilla or source dealers in India who ship overseas. It takes effort to dig dig dig but it's not impossible.
